A continuation of the Better In Tune project, this exhibition brings together pioneers and torchbearers of Funk, Soul, R&B, Hip Hop, Dancehall, and Afrobeat(s).
Featuring a central grid of over 100 artists alongside intimate framed portraits, the work honours Black musicians whose sound and presence have shaped culture across generations.

Extending the broader practice, the exhibition also considers how cultural legacy and expectation are carried and embodied through the figure — where influence is not only heard, but held in the body.

The Beat Beneath Us explores rhythm as resistance, legacy, and connection.
