Edition Policy
All prints sold via this website are authentic works by Alexis Chabala and are produced as either Limited Edition prints or Special Editions, as stated on each artwork page.
Limited Edition Prints
Limited edition prints are produced in strictly limited quantities.
Each limited edition print is signed and numbered
Each print is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA)
Once an edition is sold out, it will not be reprinted in the same size, medium, and edition format
Limited editions are stated per artwork and may vary by size (for example, larger sizes may have smaller edition numbers).
Special Editions (e.g. Somerset House Edition)
Some prints are released as Special Editions, including institutional or exhibition-linked releases.
Where applicable, this will be clearly stated on the product page (e.g. Somerset House Edition), including:
print size
medium
total edition size
the print number (e.g. 3/25)
Printing & Quality
Prints are produced using professional fine art printing processes and materials appropriate to the work (e.g. C-Type prints and exhibition-grade papers).
Minor variations in tone may occur between screen display and the final print due to calibration differences. This is normal and does not affect authenticity or quality.
Certificates of Authenticity
Where included, Certificates of Authenticity confirm:
artwork title
year and location (where relevant)
print medium and size
edition number
artist signature
Copyright & Usage Rights
All artworks remain the intellectual property of Alexis Chabala.
Purchasing a print grants the buyer ownership of the physical print only. It does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
The artwork may not be copied, reproduced, published, or used commercially (including online use for branding, merchandise, or advertising) without written permission.

Sold Out Editions
If an edition is marked as Sold Out, it will not be reproduced in the same edition format.
In some cases, the artist may release future versions of an image in a different format (e.g. different size, medium, or presentation). Any such release will be clearly identified and will not duplicate an existing edition.
