'The Influence Project’ is an acknowledgement of the Pioneers of R&B, Soul, Funk, Afrobeat & Hip Hop.  It will show musical connections and raise awareness to where it began and some of the characters involved in changing the shape of music.  The Project is also an attempt to educate as so many artists have been overlooked in the past 50 years because they didn’t fit the brief.  We aim to address these discrepancies and highlight the impact these musicians have had on the Music Industry, an impact which is still felt today.

‘The Influence Project’ will also illustrate connections to contemporary artists so that younger generations can appreciate the significance of these relationships.
